13 Quick, Easy ways to De-stress & Stay Creative!

In an attempt to get my stress under control and reignite my creativity, I have been looking into meditation practices. I have gathered a quick list of techniques and tip  that could fit into any busy lifestyle that have increased my calm, allowing myself to focus and be in that headspace that fosters creative growth. Please share with me any of your ideas in the comments below!

  • Taking a long deep inhale while picturing abundance filling your body. On the exhale, imagine all your thoughts that are no longer serving you escape your body. 
  • Posture awareness throughout the day
  • Drinking tea — Hello flavonoids!
  • Replace every negative thought with three positive thoughts
  • Opening sun series of yoga in the morning and and slow relaxing moon series at night. 
  • Technology curfew half-hour before sleeping 
  • Eating slower & enjoying the food
  • Humming & whistling in public
  • Counting Blessings — daily gratitude lists help your baseline happiness improve over as little as two weeks! 
  • Remembering what you can realistically control and what you can not
  • Have the guts to say those compliments you think about
  • Make time for a creative outlet hobby, time for mistakes invite those creative solutions. 
  • Don't be afraid to try new things!

Incorporating even just a couple of these tips throughout your day will help you prevent stress and put you in a good place for creativity to blossom within.
